How to Upgrade in Be Tornado For Brainrots
Unit first, wind second, Carry third, fans last. Copper is $100k, Gold $1B, Redstone $100B — and there is no rebirth.
Every stalled plot in Be Tornado For Brainrots bought a fan too early. The shop looks like a tycoon skill tree. It is not a rebirth tree. The current build has no rebirth. Cash goes into four real buckets, in this order: the Brainrot unit on the pad, wind power, Carry slots, then Fans. Mutations (Gold, Rainbow, Diamond, Hacker-style) sit on the unit, not in a prestige menu.
This page is the spend order. Pair it with Getting Started so you have a ticker before you open SHOPS, and with how to capture so the unit you upgrade is not Pharaoh. The mutations-and-fans video is the clip that shows why a prettier tornado does not replace wind. Read it, then spend in the order below anyway.
1. Upgrade the unit first
Pads print dollars per second. Upgrading the parked Brainrot raises that tick. A Top of the Barrel at ~$60/s or Gangster Footera at ~$80/s that you upgrade will beat a fresh Common you never touch. Mid keepers such as Tric Trac Baraboom (~16k/s), Tata Tata Sahur, Bambini, Talpa Di Fero, and Tung Tung Sahur should eat cash the moment they sit down. Late showcases — Meowl at $7.00Sx/s Infinite, Chillin Chili at $4.00Sx/s, Yes My Examen, Strawberry Elephant at $67.52B/s in official art — are still unit upgrades, not fan upgrades.
If two units are on pads, feed the best one. Chests roll a percent of your best, so a stronger best makes 200% and 480% rolls matter. Omega Bobrito Bandito is the 480% example on plot UI, not a shop SKU you buy with Robux. Do not spread upgrades evenly across F-tier. Sell Pharaoh and Pipi Kiwi with red SELL, then put the cash into the keeper. The tier list and Brainrot roster help you pick which name is the keeper; this page tells you to upgrade that name before you touch wind.
Mutations are unit-side. Gold, Rainbow, Diamond, and Hacker-style get called out in runs. One playthrough kept Rainbow over Gold and climbed from 3M/s to 43M/s after upgrades. That jump was upgrades on a mutated keeper, not a rebirth. If you have Rainbow and Gold, spend on Rainbow. If you have a mutated Common and a clean Rare, park the Rare and sell the Common.
2. Buy wind second
Wind power is throw distance into Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic (clips also say starter, wood, cobblestone, legendary, coal, copper). After the pad is upgraded, extra wind is how you stop landing in wood. The HUD shows a wind level; later sessions flash numbers such as 141. You do not need 141 in hour one. You need enough to leave the band you already cleared.
Wind without a strong unit is a sightseeing tour. You will grab better names and then park them at base tick. Unit without wind is a strong Common forever. The correct sequence is: upgrade the unit you have, buy enough wind to reach the next band, capture a better unit, upgrade that unit, repeat. That is the whole midgame.
3. Carry third — it starts at 1
Carry starts at 1. Extra slots are expensive. Playthroughs mention about 300M for more capacity. Until you can pay that without wiping unit upgrades, you live with one-in, one-out: grab, yellow HOME, compare, sell or replace. Buying Carry so you can hold two Commons is how 300M disappears. Buying Carry so you can bring a Rare home without dropping your current best is the real use, and it comes after the best is already printing.
If you are saving toward Carry, park cash in the plot, not in a chest timer. A 20% roll of a mediocre best can eat the 300M plan. Use the income planner to see how long a $16k/s (or upgraded) ticker takes to hit that class of cost. Check chest rolls before you “invest” in a 200% wait that you cannot afford to fail.
4. Fans last: Copper, Gold, Redstone
Fan shop ballpark from playthroughs: Copper about $100k, Gold about $1B, Redstone about $100B. Better fans are partly cosmetic until wind is high enough for the extra distance to matter. Copper is a reasonable late-early flex after unit and some wind. Gold is a billion-class purchase; if your pads are still Common, you bought a statue. Redstone at ~$100B is an end-session flex, not a beginner unlock.
A 1.5X cash pad on the plot will do more for a well-upgraded unit than a Gold fan on a $60/s barrel. Put the best Brainrot on the 1.5X pad, upgrade it, then look at fans. SHOPS is the blue HUD button. Do not confuse it with yellow HOME or you will sit in the fan catalog while a Rare despawns in your hand.
There is no rebirth
Other brainrot tycoons hide a prestige button behind the shop. This one does not. Red Frog Games shipped Be Tornado For Brainrots on 28 July 2026 as a free 6-player Roblox tycoon whose growth is pads, wind, Carry, and fans. If a YouTube thumbnail promises rebirth, it is talking about a different game or an outdated rumor. Do not sit on cash waiting for a rebirth NPC. Spend on the unit.
Steal is also not an upgrade path. Neighbors can walk onto your plot. That does not mint a prestige currency. Protecting pads is a hygiene habit in how to protect your plot, not a rank.
A spend script you can run every session
After each successful Return: upgrade the new keeper if it beat the old one. If it did not, sell it. When the keeper’s tick feels respectable for the band, buy wind until the next throw leaves that band. When you are dropping good units because Carry is 1, start the 300M-class save. When wind is already high and Copper is cheap relative to your suffixes (Sp, Sx, No), buy Copper. Gold waits for billions. Redstone waits for the kind of plot that already shows Meowl or Chillin Chili money.
Then stop. Open working codes only to see if a drop exists (none confirmed as of September 2026). Skim updates if fan prices on screen drifted from the $100k / $1B / $100B ballpark. If a shop prompt will not take a click, it is a control issue — PC and mobile controls — not a hidden rebirth lock.
Upgrade order is the difference between a tornado that prints and a tornado that poses. Unit, wind, Carry, fans. No fourth prestige. No steal rank. If a purchase does not raise pad $/s or throw distance, it can wait.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for tornado runs, plots, and cash.
Is there rebirth in Be Tornado For Brainrots?
No. The current build has no rebirth. Spend on unit upgrades, wind, Carry, and fans. Ignore prestige guides copied from other brainrot games.
What should I upgrade first?
The Brainrot on the pad. Then wind for throw distance. Then Carry (starts at 1, extra slots about 300M). Then fans. Capture a better unit with how to capture before you overspend on a Common.
How much do Copper, Gold, and Redstone fans cost?
Should I prioritize Rainbow or Gold mutations?
One run kept Rainbow over Gold and went from 3M/s to 43M/s after upgrades. Mutations are unit-side (Gold, Rainbow, Diamond, Hacker-style). Feed the mutated keeper, not the fan shop. See the tier list.
When do I buy extra Carry?
After the best unit is upgraded and wind can reach better zones. Carry starts at 1; extra slots are expensive. Use the income planner to time a 300M-class save without starving upgrades.
