Common to Epic grass — wood, stone, coal, copper labels — and why wind distance is the whole map.

Brainrot Rarities

Rarity in Be Tornado For Brainrots is a place you land, not a gacha pity counter. You tap the fan on your plot, become the tornado, and wind power sets how far that throw flies. Farther grass holds better names. Closer grass holds Top of the Barrel. If you are still grabbing Commons after a Gold fan, the fan is not the bug — the wind is.

This page maps the four bands players actually call out, plus the wood / stone / coal / copper labels that show up in session footage. For the throw itself, use the capture guide. For which names to keep, use brainrot tiers. The roster index is the Brainrots Hub.

The four grass bands

Sessions and UI language agree on four live bands:

BandFootage labelWhat you are doingSnapshot examples
CommonWoodFirst landing strip after a weak throwTop of the Barrel about $60/s
UncommonStoneFirst real upgrade over CommonsGangster Footera about $80/s
RareCoalMid names start showingCappuccino Assassino
EpicCopperFar band you buy wind to reachTric Trac Baraboom about 16k/s and better

The material names are aliases from videos, not a second hidden rarity tree. If a clip says “hit copper,” it means the far Epic-style strip, not “buy the Copper fan.” The Copper fan is a shop item around $100k. Copper grass is a landing zone. Do not mix those sentences in chat.

Why farther wind is better rarity

The loop is mechanical:

  1. Plot fan turns you into a tornado.
  2. Wind stat = throw distance.
  3. Distance picks the band.
  4. You grab one unit (Carry starts at 1).
  5. Return, pad, $/s.

You cannot “roll Epic” while dying in wood grass. You buy wind so the tornado still exists when the coal and copper strips appear. That is why upgrade priority puts wind ahead of Gold and Redstone fans. A $1B Gold fan that you cannot aim still dumps you in Common.

Epic is not the end of all names. Infinites, chest percent units, and the Strawberry Elephant live in a different conversation (pads, mutations, percent-of-best). This page only answers: which grass did this name come from, and how do I get there again?

Common / wood — starter strip

Expect Top of the Barrel and other low printers. Park one so the plot ticks. Do not open chests with this as your best. Sell extras. One Common pad is a tutorial. Five Common pads is a museum.

Talpa Di Fero, Tata Tata Sahur, Bambini, Tung Tung Sahur, Pharaoh, and Pipi Kiwi show up as junk across early strips. If they land in Common, they are still D-tier. Rarity band does not save a bad name.

Uncommon / stone — first keepers

Gangster Footera around $80/s is the Uncommon everyone should recognize. It is the first pad that makes a $60/s starter look like a placeholder. Upgrade Footera. Then buy wind so the next throw is not another Footera forever.

If you can reach stone consistently, Copper fan becomes a conversation. If you cannot, Copper fan is a costume.

Rare / coal — mid names

Cappuccino Assassino is the named Rare-band example without a frozen $/s. Treat coal grass as the strip where mid keepers replace Uncommons. This is also where mutations start to matter more: a Rainbow Uncommon that you carried from stone can still beat a raw Rare. Rank the pad.

Epic / copper grass — far workhorses

Tric Trac Baraboom around 16k/s is the snapshot that makes Epic worth the wind bill. Once a 16k pad exists, Common and Uncommon names are Sell fuel. Epic is where you start thinking about chests, because percent-of-best finally has a “best.”

Copper grass is still not “I win the game.” Meowl Infinite around $7.00Sx/s and Chillin Chili Infinite around $4.00Sx/s are later snapshots. You reach those by keeping the loop honest: better band, better pad, then shop. Not by skipping to Redstone.

Mutations do not replace bands

Gold, Rainbow, Diamond, and Hacker-style can appear on units from more than one strip. Rainbow often beats Gold in mid game. A Diamond Common is still a Common that you probably Sell once Footera exists. Band first, mutation second, name third.

How to train the throw

Play on the 6-player online server, claim an empty plot, and treat the first ten throws as wind calibration, not as a hunt for thumbnail units. If you undershoot, buy wind, not a new fan tier. If you overshoot and still grab junk, Sell and throw again — Carry is 1, so greed is expensive.

The capture guide is the movement page. This page is the map legend. Use both, then park what you dragged home on a green or yellow pad along the red carpet.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for tornado runs, plots, and cash.

Is copper grass the same as the Copper fan?

No. Copper grass is the far Epic-style band in footage. The Copper fan is a shop item around $100k. Wind is what reaches copper grass; the fan only helps if that extra range is used.

Which rarity should I farm first?

Leave Common/wood as soon as wind allows. Uncommon/stone for Gangster Footera, then Rare/coal and Epic/copper for mid names like Cappuccino Assassino and Tric Trac Baraboom. Follow the capture guide.

Does a Rainbow Common beat a raw Uncommon?

Sometimes the pad number says yes. Rainbow often beats Gold in mid game, but band still matters. Check $/s on the pad before you lock a Common in a yellow slot.

Why do I keep landing in wood grass after buying Gold fan?

Gold is extra range only if wind already throws that far. Buy wind before luxury fans. See upgrade priority.

Where do Infinites and Strawberry Elephant fit in these four bands?

They are pad and chest problems more than wood-to-copper labels. Use the Brainrots Hub and brainrot tiers once Epic grass is solved.
